The Burial Grounds funeral fundraiser was an event that was put on in attempt to raise enough money for the local Olympia Co-Op to stay open. Reeling from the massive hit to business caused by COVID lockdowns, Burial Grounds threw together an open mic, raffle, and march downtown leading to the bar The Crypt, where The Window Smashing Job Creators (WSJC) played.

This was Human Vacuum's first performance, with Grey, Gabe, and Saige playing two songs: An acoustic cover of their union song Jump With Me, as well as a currently unreleased song, "Down". This performance lead to Grey meeting Phil of WSJC and establishing a connection that lead to Human Vacuum being invited to play The Mortuary on April 14th, 2023 during WSJC's reunion tour to fundraise for Stop Cop City.
